Meet the PPC Creators -- Day 5

Make sure to take the time out to stop by each Creators blog to check out their work and wish them well! :)

I have always loved playing with paper while growing up but this hobby turned into an obsession when I was introduced to Stampin' Up! two years ago. I remember ordering an entire family of ink pads at my very first workshop. That's the type of person I am. I have this little voice telling me that I just absolutely need everything and thus, my addiction has taken over the entire basement in my house. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with my boyfriend of 5 years, Jamie and our 2 year old Samoyed puppy Khuno. I love creating cards because I can complete one in a short amount of time and I never get tired of hearing, "You MADE it?!?"
I'm very thankful that Megan has given this newbie an amazing opportunity and can't wait to start working with this talented group of ladies!

Have a great day!

Meet the PPC Creators -- Day 4

Make sure to take time out to stop by each Creators blog to check out their work and wish them well! :)

I have been crafty for as long as I can remember...my mom taught me to knit, crochet, sew, and cross-stitch as a little girl and my grandma was also a huge influence on my love for all things crafty. My obsession with paper started about five years ago when a {now, very good} friend of mine started a monthly stamping club and asked if I would be interested in joining. The rest is history and I currently have a VERY healthy assortment of paper - as well as ribbon, buttons, flowers, chipboard, punches...the list could go on and on. In fact, I could probably open up my own scrapbook store! I tend to make cards more than anything and they MUST have MANY layers ~ I don't really know how to {do} Clean & Simple!
I am currently on the design team for three other wonderful challenge blogs: The Curtain Call Color Challenge over at Stacey's Stamping Stage, The Shabby Tea Room, and I will be the guest designer for a couple of months over at Totally Stampalicious for their newest stamp release at the end of April.
My non-crafting free time is spent keeping my family washed, dried and in clean clothes...and sometimes I feed them. ;) I have three boys - 14, 12 and 10 - and a husband of almost 15 years who supports me in my habit but doesn't quite understand it. We live on a farm in Central Alberta, Canada where I work down the road at our local country general store.
I am very excited to share this new journey with all of the wonderfully talented ladies Megan has chosen to be PPC Creators - thanks again, Megan! We're going to have so much fun!
I live in Millet, Alberta with my husband and my three children (13, 11 and 8). I am a stay at home mom who works in the home babysitting. Crafting has always been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom who is an avid crafter always encouraged me to do something to stay busy, it could be coloring, painting, latch hooking or other paper crafts. My best friend started me out on my paper addiction with Scrapbooking first and then her first Stampin Up party. She became a Demonstrator that night and the rest is history...my paper addiction grew and so did my stamp collection both rubber and clear (ribbon, rub-ons, buttons :0 ). I started out making cards around 13 years ago, but in the last 8 years it is has become my biggest hobbie yet and a part time job for me. The best part of crafting for me is seeing the look on someones face when they open my card or another homemade gift. Card making is something I love to do with my family and friends on a regular basis. It always translates into laughter, relaxation, good friendship and so much more.
At any given time you can find me in my craft room listening to music, drinking hot chocolate and card making. I am not always by myself, my daughter is a crafter too as well as both of my sons. Other crafts I love are crocheting, cross stitching, scrapbooking, foil scrapping, painting/drawing and candles.
I am looking forward to seeing all of your creations and starting a whole new journey with the PPC-CC ladies.

Have a great day!

Meet the PPC Creators -- Day 3

Make sure to take time out to stop by each Creators blog to check out their work and wish them well! :)

Hello, my name is Jackie and I'm from Florida. I have four great kids and have been homeschooling for the past 15 years. I've always been a crafty person and enjoy creating gifts for others. My scrapbooking obsession started 6 years ago when some friends introduced me to it. Needless to say I've become more and more addicted over the years. My favorite things to create are mini albums. They make me happy!
I'm so happy to be part of this awesome team of ladies here at Picture Perfect Creations. I know you all will enjoy participating in these challenges and getting to know these designers, I know I have.
I'd love for you to stop by and peek into my world at My Basket of Scraps.

I am a work-from-home wife and mother of two teen-aged sons! We live in Chapel Hill, NC for the past 14 years, originally from NY State. I have been a paper crafter for almost 20 years doing lots of scrap booking when my boys were little. I was introduced to card making about 5 years ago and a whole, new, wonderful world opened up to me! I started a blog and enjoyed that so much that I decided to host a weekly challenge blog also and enjoy these fun sites more than I can say! I've met so many nice people in my paper crafting circles. {Whenever} I get a free minute, you'll find me up in my design studio. I make cards mostly just for the fun of it and I really enjoy giving them to people ... a handmade card is such a wonderful and personal way to tell somone that you appreciate them! I'm thrilled and honored that Megan chose me to embark on this fun Design Team journey with her and the other DT Members. I look forward to many fun, creative and inspirational days spent with you all over at Picture Perfect Creations!

Enjoy!

Meet the PPC Creators -- Day 2

Make sure to take time out to stop by each Creators blog to check out their work and wish them well! :)

HELLO! My name is Nicole Anderson (Mrs Nickel on SCS) and I live in Jasper, Indiana. I am a work-at-home, remarried mom of four children (20, 8, 7 and 5)! From college to pre-school, these kiddos keep me on my toes and make life crazy, but it is worth it! About my artsy fartsy self: My passion for art and crafts began as a child with pom-pom animals and macramé. Since then, I have enjoyed cross-stitch, crochet, beading, and other art mediums. I began falling in love with paper about five years ago when one of my girlfriends introduced me to scrapbooking. Soon thereafter I found card-making and that was it!
My love for Copics and digital images is pretty obvious on my blog, but I still have a hankin' for rubber and clear stamps! And, did I mention I am a ribbon addict? Please visit my blog, GottaHavePaper, to get to know a bit more about me, see my craft room in the side-bar and also so I can get to know you! I love being inspired by other artists and crafters from around the world! So be sure to comment so I can check out your blog, too!
I am so excited to be on Megan's FIRST EVAH design team for Picture Perfect Creations!! {{THANK YOU, MEGAN!!}}

I work full-time as a designer for a civil engineer in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I've been scrapbooking since 1998 with my best friend. I have a loving husband who helps support my habit and two sons (a tween and 9 yo) who are amazing kids. My husband was generous enough to let me have the entire bonus room to myself, 24'x22' of paper & ink heaven! My step-mom introduced me to rubber stamping in 2000 but I didn't really get into it until I fell in love with acrylic stamps! I have an array of ribbons, rub-ons, pens and pencils. I rarely pass up purchasing flowers! I love my Cricut Expression and am slowly making a library for myself of cartridges.
You can visit me at ScrapAddict'sAttic to see my work and let me know what you think of it! I love positive feedback!

Have a great day!
